    If your visitor does not read until the end of your sales letter, they may not know what you have to offer.

    This is one of the main reasons why visitors do not convert into buyers for a particular website. Your sales letter should be effective by using powerful headline, useful sub-headings, and short and concise sentences that delivers your message across.

    Your sales letter needs to tell them that the product/service you are offering is the product that will solve their problems or it is what they are looking for.

    Your website design may be cluttered and unprofessional

    Have you visited a website where you seem to get lost in its design and thus to avoid wasting your time, you clicked the back button even without trying to see what the website has to offer?

    There are websites that are too cluttered with navigation areas, advertisements everywhere, floating pop up’s, ect. It therefore makes you feel like this website will not provide you with the answer to your questions or will make it appear to a visitor as being complicated.

    Design your website to be easy to read and helpful to your niche. Avoid too much color and too many advertisements if you do not want your visitor to immediately click the back button.

This is another way your sales letter comes into play.

    You do not offer a return policy

    A return policy is a safeguard for customers that should they be unhappy with the product/service, they can return it and they will refund it as well. This way, you silently tell them that you are a reputable marketer and are not afraid that your customer will be unhappy.

    You do not offer multiple payment options

    Multiple payment options help it easy for visitors to buy your products. You should be able to accept any form of payment that is convenient for your customers.

    If you can turn your website around by avoiding the common mistakes mentioned above, you will be able to convert more of your website visitors into buyers.
